炫卡斗士 (Xuàn kǎ dòushì, literally “Dazzling Card Fighter”) is the Chinese localization of Metal Cardbot for distribution in mainland China. It is generally regarded as the most successful localization of the show, in part because the distributor, JUMPGO, is also the manufacturer of the toys.1

The Chinese localization is produced by Zhenjiang Fanye Animation & Culture Co., Ltd. (镇江翻页动漫文化有限公司) and directed by Gao Wenbo (高文博).

Season 1

Beast Energy

Metal Cardbot S

In China, Metal Cardbot S is split into two 13-episode parts, titled “炫卡斗士2” and “炫卡斗士3”. Part 1 was filed with the National Radio and Television Administration in June 20242 and aired November 29, 2024. Part 2 was filed in December 20243 and aired August 15, 2025.

Zerg Crisis

Metal Cardbot W

Similarly to Metal Cardbot S, the Chinese localization of Metal Cardbot W is split into two parts, titled “炫卡斗士之荒野兽王1” and “炫卡斗士之荒野兽王2” (with tagline translating to “Beast King of the Wilderness”). The first part was filed with the National Radio and Television Administration in January 2026.4
